Many of you first raised serious concerns with me about the intersection at Curban St and Kingston Road back in April 2025.

Since then, I’ve met with locals, written to the Minister, and continued pushing for urgent action to fix what is clearly a dangerous site.

In September 2025, this upgrade was finally given priority status.

But despite that, there have been further serious and tragic accidents at this intersection - which is deeply concerning.

I asked the LNP Minister for Transport in Parliament about a time-line for the project to be fixed and this was his response:
